Bandai Namco Partners Singapore and Soul Singapore present to you the first competitive event for Soul Calibur 5 in our island nation.

Come March the 3rd 2012, Singapore’s finest Souls will gather in e2max, to participate in what could be the biggest tournament for fighting games in Singapore EVER.

This tournament is part of an international series of tourneys held by Bandai Namco Games. The winner of this tournament WILL be sent on a trip to LAS VEGAS to participate in the world finals held in April.

Other prizes include PS3s, joysticks and Limited Editions of Soul Calibur 5 and photos with our lovely cosplayers! We’ll also be having lots of casual games, a newcomer side tournament as well as a raffle where more prizes are to be given away. Prizes totalling a value of over $10,000 are to be given away on this day! (OVER 9000!!!) So be sure to give yourself a chance to walk away with some cool loot.

Soul SG > Guest Characters

The game hit our shores some time on Friday/Saturday and I’ve gotten my smelly paws on it!

So far Dampierre and Kratos are looking like awesome additions to the cast.. Kratos, unfitting as he may be, is a sight to behold.. and Dampierre… is challenging Voldo for the title of best…. whatever qualities we love Voldo for.. (He dances! He screeches! He wobbles on the floor! He dances! He seems homosexual! And most importantly.. he DANCES! and we’re talking about Dampierre here.. *hint*)

Kilik remains fairly unchanged for the bit that I mashed with him.. Asura has been nerfed.. that doesn’t stop me from doing what I do best though. ^^

Will probably bring the game along for the next session for everyone to take a look.. I know all of you pirates are waiting for the new CFW before you play the game.. PIRATES!! PIRATES!!!! AY GEE DEE ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! (C WHUT I DID THAR?)

There will be a console session at CK’s place on August the 22nd Saturday.

Starting around 6pm-ish and ending close to midnight.

Its been a 2 month break since our last gathering, so I hope to see lots of people! with much love spread around etc.etc.

If you’re not sure on how to get to CK’s place. Feel free to drop  us a question here and I’ll get back to you ASAP. Alternatively if you know one of the “usual suspects” (myself, Jovian, Hiromaxi, Farp etc.etc.) feel free to contact us and meet us at the nearest MRT or something (which, for the record, would be Hougang MRT).

Despite how character choices weren’t limited, I’m glad to see the top 3 stuck to one character true out! Way to represent your chars guys!

So, I accidentally kicked something and found out it was a CD Case… so i opened it up and browsed through what was inside.. I found a lot of stuff that made me laugh a lot, some stuff even brought tears to my eyes (seriously).. I’ve revisited lot of memories of SoulSingapore of ’03-’04 over the hour and I just wanted to share these… Its a pity I don’t have as many pictures as I have videos though.. (and the videos are fun… Spyder vs Crono series… Neoshinji series etc.etc.)
